Dateline Dayton — Rudy Giuliani has been getting heat for his comment that President Obama does not love America.

I don’t think he is far off base. Possibly, Rudy chose the wrong words. I believe our President has an agenda not in the best interests of America or its citizens.

It is apparent Mr. Obama is on a mission. He is using the presidency to accomplish his goals, which probably are not what the majority of us want.

Can I really blame the President for putting his goals and ambitions above those of the country. No. Not when most Senators and Congressmen\women do the same thing. In their case, they do it for either personal gain or for the party. Never is it in the interests of constituents.

May I See Your License?

You may tire of my harping about the need for a license to have and care for children. Not a day passes that you don’t hear about a child being killed by an abusive parent or caregiver.

Where I live, west of Dayton, two children died in a house fire the other day. You say fires happen every day, that people die in these accidents.

In this case a 9-year-old boy and a 10-year- old girl were killed. The fire department was called at 3:45 a.m. So? They were alone in the house. Their mother arrived back while the fire was s raging, telling the firemen that her children were in the house.

Details are not yet available, including the mom’s whereabouts. Another example of poor parenting that caused the death of two beautiful children The situation has been turned over to the prosecutor.

Individuals having and caring for children in today’s environment need training. Requiring a license must become law.

It seems children, just as like other items are becoming throwaways in our society. If they cramp our style, dispose of them.

I do not know what happened in this fire, but just saying. We must take parenting seriously for 24 hours a day.
