I was completely surprised by my own survey taken this past weekend when I asked a number of residents about thefrontpageonline.com, the Culver City News, the Culver City Observer and The Wave.
Many residents did not even know of their existence.
Journey Begins
Rather than looking for Generation X or any other youth-oriented segment of Culver City society, I began my journey by searching for ancient inhabitants.
Being the weekend, I started on Sunday morning in the inner circle of peaceful sanctuaries where celebrated enlightenment ritual for the soul is the practice.
We went into the late evening where the ritual of feeding the soul solid nutriments allowed for sociable chat.

A hero is given a task bigger than himself in the community.
We in Culver City have held a Recognition Day for everyone I ever can remember in this city.
The community rallies around various associations and groups.
There is a great fun-filled day of celebration with stylish music, watery, delicious food.
The range is from business sponsors who post themselves in Hello Booths to in-your-face towering, colorful booths.
So many hands and hellos are coming at you, it feels more like a festive parade.
Forgotten Hero
The lonely journalist, or correspondent, spends countless hours pursuing a moral objective.
The intentions of these journalists are moral, honorable.
Their desire is to bring to every resident what they deem to be the most important local news.
Every journalist or correspondent, regardless of newspaper affiliation, is a hero with a thousand faces.
He or she is willing to sacrifice to bring alive an idea outside of the mainstream, elevating the importance of individuals for hometown residents to appreciate.
