Inspiring Interlude

An inspirational sunset memorial will recall those who lost the fight to cancer and it will honor those who are survivors of cancer.

“It is one of the most touching and worthwhile family events you will ever experience,” said Lu Rivas, a cancer survivor and co-chair of the event.

Participation in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life is as simple as showing up anytime during the 24-hour period and donating $1 or making a pledge on-line.

Making Arrangements

Teams often set up tents and enjoy a memorable 24-hour camping experience filled with fun and entertainment.

Many people drop by and support their favorite teams, pledge whatever dollars they can per lap, and walk, jog or run a few laps in the company of other community minded individuals.

Relay for Life is a family event for young and old to spend quality time together.

All Together

It is a special occasion when all join in to raise money for the fight against cancer.

Team fee is $150, payable to the American Cancer Society.
