In aggressive pursuit of reopening the Natatorium, Mr. Zirgulis plants his sign outside the ex-pool, which he shows below.

Yesterday was the first day of School Board candidate lawn signs. I have been planting the seeds about fixing our Natatorium, and I hope to get the lawn signs like the one pictured in front of the Natatorium sprouting up all over Culver City.

My lawns signs are somewhat different than your typical, boring lawn sign that just gives the candidate’s name in big letters and says “Running for School Board.”

“Fix Our School Pool” is the message emblazoned on and prominently displayed at the top of my lawn signs.

I have chosen the Natatorium as one of the main issues in my campaign for School Board because it represents a monumental symbol of decay and neglect of our capital facilities and infrastructure in the Culver City School District.

I am making the public commitment to be an advocate for the Natatorium and to work at getting our schools back into shape.

I am encouraging everyone to order these free lawn signs and to sign the petition to “Fix Our Culver City School Natatorium Swimming Pool.”

Call 310.486.7408 or email zirgulisr@yahoo.com  to get a free lawn sign delivered to your door.  The link to the online petition is
