On June 3, Culver City voters passed Measure CC by 76 percent. This landslide was the second highest level of approval among the 40 school bonds on California ballots on election day.
Our community now has a large pool of resources available to improve our schools.
Culver City made the right choice.
United Parents of Culver City believes that these bond funds should be used to benefit children in the School District equitably, to address urgent needs promptly and to create the longest-lasting and most positive impact on our schools and school operations. We look forward to engaging the community in the public process that will determine how our taxpayer dollars are spent.
Now that the campaign is behind us and the way forward is clear, UPCC can turn its energies to the other purposes for which it was formed: fostering a spirit of collaboration among Culver City Unified School District stakeholders while ensuring the public is well-informed and actively involved in school-related issues.
We invite you to join us. Whether or not you have children in our schools, whether you are a resident or a businessperson in our community, we all have a stake in the success of our District.

[img]1994|right|Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin||no_popup[/img]United Parents of Culver City is a parent-run, grassroots, democratic organization dedicated solely to the interests of our children, the students of Culver City. UPCC members are volunteer leaders from all five elementary schools, Culver City Middle School, Culver City High School and Culver Park. Members are current and former PTA and Booster Club presidents, trustees of the Culver City Education Foundation, engaged community members and other parent leaders.
