Dateline San Juan Capistrano – In the three years of the Obama administration, the immigrant community has experienced record high deportations. Despite promises for reform and a more moderate deportation policy, immigrant families find themselves further in the shadows than ever.

Immigrant youth from across the country have had enough.

On Thursday, the Orange County Dream Team and ACCLAMO from Saddleback College will come together to launch the “Right to Dream” campaign.

Undocumented youth and allies from the community will call on President Obama to use his power to stop tearing immigrant families apart and to provide real and lasting relief for Dream Act- eligible youth.

Simultaneous actions will take place in multiple cities around the country as part of a national effort organized by the United We Dream Network.

At tomorrow’s rally, members of the Orange County Dream Team, and ACCLAMO from Saddleback College and local undocumented youth will march through the community of San Juan Capistrano to demand relief from President Obama and will state their Declaration of Dreams.
