More than $68K was raised cumulatively by the seven candidates for this week’s three-seat race for the School Board.

That figures out to about $17 per ballot of the 4,018 total that were mailed in early and cast on Election Day.

It is notable that of the five top finishers, the two who spent the least per vote received were Dr. Steve Levin, manager of a NASA space probe program, at $4.90 each and Sue  Robins, an independent business owner, at $4.60.

The one candidate who spent the most of the top five finishers was Karlo Silbiger at $9.65.

Robert Zirgulis – 536 votes,  $7,375.536 = $13.76 per vote received

Vernon Taylor – 568 votes, $1,000/568 = $1.76 each vote received

Karlo Silbiger – 1,670 votes, $16,123/1670 = $9.65 each vote received.

Claudia Vizcarra – 1,218 votes, $7,704/1,218 = $6.33 each vote received.

Sue Robins – 1,877 votes,  $8,624/1,877 = $4.60 each vote received.

Kathy Paspalis – 2,058 votes,  $16,180/2,058 = $7.86 each vote received.

Dr. Steve Levin – 2,278 votes, $11,175/2,278 = $4.90 per vote received.
