[Editor’s Note: Following yesterday’s team-wide email (See “Moran’s Answer to Council’s Ouster of His Edge Swim Team,” Oct. 29,) the week after he and his Edge Swim Team were evicted by the City Council from the city’s outdoor pool, Patrick Moran filed a new email today for the 350 members of the Edge community.]
Hey All 
Here's my response to the many questions coming from the Team:
Practice as usual. Prepare for next meet, as usual. Team will function as normal right up to the City's termination date – Friday, November 23rd. We will not prepare to leave. We will not pack. We will go about our daily lives as if Edge Swim Club is going to always continue in Culver City safe & secure. We will act through non-resistance and love, right up to that date, as if there is nothing to fear.
When the termination date nears, IF we honestly believe Alan Corlin will succeed in destroying Edge Swim Club, we'll offer temporary practices at an alternate location. We'll also invite Coaching staff from two reputable, high-quality teams to visit our deck and introduce you to their programs. IF that is our last day, then on Friday, November 23rd, we'll have a Team party on-deck and the Edge members will remove our equipment from city property. I give you my word as a man that our Family (Nicole, Cindy & I) will not desert the Edge Community or leave it hanging.
In the meantime, Edge Swim Club has a NEW RECRUITING INCENTIVE for active members! We reward you with four levels!! Here's how it works:
Level 1: Bring in any new Family, for a free two-week tryout. Reward – "The Paul Revere" (get one child's next meet fees waived).
Level 2: That tryout Family is also registered to vote in Culver City. Reward – "The Abraham Lincoln" (one child's free month registration).
Level 3: That tryout Family also qualifies for our need-based scholarship. Reward – "The John F. Kennedy" (6 free months – can divide among multiple kids).
Level 4: That tryout Family is also from a recognized minority (such as African, Native-American, Latino, Asian, etc. etc.) Reward – "The American" (1 year free registration ALL kids in your family).
Remember folks, Culver City's City Council Elections coming very soon. Biggest election in years. 3 of 5 seats turning over – including Alan Corlin's. He's a lame-duck. Like my daddy used to say, "Put some pellets in him. Make it quick. Don't let him suffer." My Father was a compassionate man. Those interested in running for City Council announce in November, just days away.
For those of you who are curious for more details about what Alan Corlin has distributed in part through Glenn Esterly at the Culver City News, we are preparing another e-mail, with objective evidence to support Edge Swim Club.

Apologies All;
No one in City Hall seems to have noticed that they're kicking out our children's Team the day after Thanksgiving, November 23rd And that the pool is usually closed on that day. How's that for holiday spirit.
Someone from the Team, please take it upon yourself or selves to call City Attorney Carol Schwab direct at: 310-253-5660. She's the public-funds-paid staff member who notified of us of that date; signed our "Notice of Termination"; and then cc'd it to: "Mayor Corlin and Members of the City Council; Jerry Fulwood – City Manager; Martin Cole – Assistant City Manager; and Bill LaPointe – Director of Parks & Recreation."
Please ask Carol:Does Mayor Corlin prefer that our Community spend our final day of existence in our home pool the day before Thanksgiving (when the pool is usually open) or the day after Thanksgiving?
Please let her know in very polite, professional manner that:We will abide by whatever wisdom our elected-representative imparts.
