Obama Slaps Down Netanyahu, Again, Before Leaving Town

Since the day after Swish Obama announced a run for the White House six murky years ago last month, astute, normal-thinking Jews have feared the ineradicable historical stain he would place on the Presidency.

It was scarcely a gamble.

Liberal Jews, to whom their culture, religion and heritage are incidental, rejoiced. In the ensuing months, giddiness splashed them like a bucket above a doorway. Their bean-counting party was seeking to elevate a precious member of the permanently enshrined Victim Establishment – a woman or a black, both with deeply troubling character defects the size of the moon – to the Presidency.

Rational Jews repeatedly have been proven correct in the 52 months since Swish won his first term.

His failures, deceptions and lies – from his shifting positions on the status of Jerusalem, comments on settlements and “occupation,” a damnable lie, to his numerous humiliating face-to-face treatments of Prime Minister Netanyahu – he has shown far more disdain for Jews than toward Arab terrorists. He smartly keeps a self-loathing Jew stashed nearby for cover.

He is the closest model to an anti-Semite in the White House since the dreaded FDR days.

Oh, I Feel So Gay

Since he has held three separate public positions on gay marriage, when Swish told a gullible Israeli audience this week that an Obama-led America has the back of Jews when the next peril arrives, a Jew who swallows that line is an irredeemable fool.

When Palestinian terrorists fired rockets from Gaza into Israel during his worthless visit, Mr. Obama dipped a pampered thumb into his thimble of courage and, uh, declined to comment.

When a journalist wondered why he couldn’t give the same hardline two-state responsibility speech to the Palestinian terrorists that he had delivered to Israelis, Mr. Obama’s quivering Adam’s apple almost tumbled to his oily ankles. He did not comment.

It was a bad day for those of us who believe in the literalness of the Home of the Brave.

Given his thin body of knowledge, Swishy must have forgotten that Israel – encircled all day and night by 22 Arab terrorist authoritarian nations that try, daily, to obliterate the Jewish state – has offered the “Palestinians” peace for 65 consecutive years.

“Palestinians,” Swishy, have said no for 65 consecutive years because they want all Jews to die. Today. God knows they have been trying to make that happen for 65 consecutive years.

Excuse Me, Dude, I Am Slow

Swish was not much of a scholar in his high school or college years. Still, obviously, he is not. He probably doesn’t know that at the hour Israel declared statehood in May 1948, as sanctioned by the U.N., of all people, Arab terrorists from three sides attacked the new Jewish state.

They have not stopped.

No Jew in Israel has slept soundly before or since, a meaningless footnote for the President as he constantly perfumes himself.

Since Swish had vowed not to leave Israel without committing a memorable humiliation, digest, with a gulp, what the eminently reliable Paul Mirengoff at powerlineblog.com is reporting this afternoon:

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu apologized today to Turkey for an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla. The apology is, of course, the handiwork of President Obama. Indeed, Netanyahu made the call during an airport meeting with Obama shortly before Obama mercifully left Israel.

The apology is a humiliation for Israel, which had nothing for which to be sorry. Netanyahu’s statement — which he wisely resisted making for three years — will not improve Israeli relations with Turkey. Relations are poor not because of the flotilla incident, but because Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, a good friend of Obama’s, is an Israel-hating Islamist.

How much does Erdogan hate Israel? Daniel Pipes reminds us that last month, Erdogan stated: “Just like Zionism, anti-Semitism and fascism, Islamophobia must be regarded as a crime against humanity.” And three days ago, Erdogan stood by his claim that Zionism, the principle upon which Israel is founded, constitutes a crime against humanity.

If anyone should apologize, it is Erdogan — not just for his verbal attack on Zionism, but also for supporting the terrorists who undertook the Gaza flotilla . But instead, thanks to Obama, Erdogan is rewarded with an apology from Israel.

Erodgan/Turkey is the only winner from Obama’s trip to Israel. And he’s the only party Obama wanted to win, now that he has become disillusioned with the Palestinians.
