On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, President Obama’s work calendar deliberately was blank. On Saturday, there were two pro football games he wanted to see, two more on Sunday and a college playoff on Monday evening.
Shockingly, he never considered participating in Sunday’s sprawling anti-terrorism rally in Paris where 48 world leaders – all more highly regarded than he – marched against extreme Islam, the President’s religion.
Not even for phony show would he insult his fellow Muslims by daring to pretend to be against last week’s Parisian massacre by Muslim animals.
What has been obvious to Republicans for seven years slowly, like maple syrup, is gaining credence with some liberals, that Mr. Obama is an overmatched fraud suited for no more responsible than dog-catcher in a town with a maximum of two streets.
He lies so routinely he makes Putin look like a mountain of morality.
His first defense for blowing off Paris was to say that to would have been impossible to cobble the President’s security team for an instant international trip. When that excuse crashed and burned, his spokesperson Josh Inearnest confessed it was a gaffe of mammoth proportions, or something like that.
The mumbling bumbler hurts our country with nearly every speech.
He executed some of his most pathetic prancing last week. He was narcissistically parading across country spreading lies about his latest free offer, community college education, while the world was reeling from the Paris slaughter.
Tell me it was a joke. Wasn’t it?
It no longer is a metaphor or a late-night punch line. It is verifiable that Mr. Obama is the 49th most important government leader on the globe.
The leaders of Israel and the Palestinian Authority hooked arms with heads of African and other governments constantly in states of friction.
The alleged and embarrassingly overmatched leader of the free world cowered in a corner.
Mr. Obama, by far the least serious, least capable President in modern history, was hiding out in the White House watching football.
That our country has plunged down the scale and ranks no higher than cheesy islands in the South Seas in government prestige should rattle sensible liberals, even those who swallowed his line that he was messiah.
