[Editor’s Note: Peripatetic City Council candidate Robert Zirgulis lately has begun writing about himself in the third person, as in the following two missives that arrived this morning.]

Looks like three tries are a charm. After two straight rained-out Saturdays, the weather outlook is good for Mr. Z's first ever Throw the Bums Out fundraiser-yard sale-barbecue this time.

On Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2, please come to Mr. Z's house, 4241 Baldwin Ave.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served from noon till 2.

Recycled mouth-blown glass, wrought iron, decorative accessories and other interesting items will also be available.

Mr. Z has been taking his weeks’ long protest against red light traffic cameras to every red light camera installation in Culver City.

On Tuesday, he was at the intersection of Green Valley Circle and Sepulveda Boulevard. Yesterday, Mr. Z took his protest to the intersection of Sawtelle and Washington.

Mr. Z is taking pictures at every red light camera site and passing them on to readers.

He wants to encourage others to go throughout the country to send pictures of protests against red light cameras just like the traveling gnome.
