As a former Mayor of Culver City, I understand the complexities of performing the duties of a City Council member. The diverse and complex issues that come before the Council must be dispatched with both forthrightness and compassion. I am voting for Jeff Cooper for City Council on April 13.
A City Council candidate I vote for must have experience and be willing to make Solomon-like decisions. During the difficult financial times we are all struggling with now, a member of the Council has to work with all constituencies to ensure the financial stability of the city while at the same time protecting the community’s needs. A Council candidate I vote for must ensure that our public safety is protected. A Council candidate I vote for must be multifaceted and have broad city appeal. I am confident that Jeff Cooper is that candidate.
