Re “Price Is Behind Novel Electronic License Plate Plan”
So, like most bills that come out of our elected officials, they have not thought out how the electronic plates would work?
Yet it passed 25 to 0?
From past experience, we know that most elected officials never read the bills they vote on.
Then there are unintended consequences that the average citizen suffers while demanding changes to a useless, unenforceable or damaging bill that they passed sight unseen.
People complain about the digital billboards being a distraction. The CHP and other agencies blocked the commercial ads on freeway signs.
Now these geniuses are promoting mini electronic billboards on our cars? Like a property owner who gets a billboard on his property, will the state pay the car owner a monthly advertising fee?
My question is, what are they thinking?
Or are they?
Only time will tell…
