Hello, Everyone:

I am often asked, why do you and your wife work so hard for a youth football and cheer program?

Why do you and your wife put in so much of your own resources?

Why spend so much of your time investing in other people’s kids. In return, many parents of the kids you are trying to help give little back.

Why do you and your wife give up so much of your time, energy and effort to kids when others question your motives, scandalize your name, smile in your face and stab you in the back?

Why do you do it?

My answer:

Look at the faces of the 2013 class of Morehouse College graduates endure a rainstorm.

Morehouse Men showed Discipline, Strength and Determination in the mist of an uncomfortable situation.

(Morehouse is the only all-male historically black institution of higher learning in the country.)

Our mission is to help transform boys into men, men who will endure the rainstorms of life.

We will do it until the last breath is exhaled from our lungs.

I would ask that you join our efforts.

Visit us at www.fyfs.org. Together we can do more.
