Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about our dad, Richard Bloom, who's running for state Assembly in California's 50th District.

The Bloom family
Both of us have fond memories of growing up in Santa Monica, playing on the beach, exploring the amazing Westside culture, and benefiting from our education at Santa Monica's great public schools.
Our dad is a local leader who improved the quality of life for our peers. He has prioritized public education and provided funding for arts, athletics and, of course, academics.
He built parks and libraries, worked tirelessly to address homelessness. He has made Santa Monica one of the most environmentally conscious cities in the world.
Our dad, Richard Bloom, understands the issues our generation cares about and is thinking about us constantly in his vision for the future of California.
As Mayor, Coastal Commissioner and in many other roles, our dad has consistently advocated to improve the quality of our educational system, our environment and laid the groundwork for our community's future – our future.
Now he wants to take that vision to Sacramento. He wants to fix the things that are broken in our state so that we and future generations can live and work here and enjoy the many great things that California has to offer.
