By Madeline Ehrlich
My husband and I attended opening night of the AVPA's new play, Twelve Angry Jurors, last evening at the Robert Frost Auditorium.
It was spectacular. The students are amazingly talented. They performed better than some actors and actresses that I have seen on Broadway.
They were really into it. Actually I did not want to see the performance end.
During the performance, I kept thinking about how many of life's lessons those students are learning in addition to theatrics.
The play also has valuable lessons for the audience.
I am overjoyed when I see something like this taking place in our very own School District. It definitely made me proud to see that these young people are from our community.
My compliments are extended to the staff, director, and all those behind the scenes that make this production so outstanding.
