Re “Gross Explains Why City Hall Failed to Meet Housing Obligations

What a great, titillating place to end the first installment on Carol Gross’s understanding of why the affordable housing obligation has not been met year after year!

Borrow Redevelopment Agency funds?

I will bet you Culver City wrote the book on it.

Gross said that 40 percent of the cities had not met their state-mandated quotas.

That means 60 percent did met the requirements.

Does that mean Culver City residents are just too NIMBYistic?

I guess the public is not always right. Maybe the City Council members need to get some “backbone” and do what's right for the future of our fair city.

If not, we will slowly become a retirement community.

I wonder what the consequences are for those cities who do not meet their quotas?

A slap on the wrist?

Loss of state funding? Or nothing!
