[Editor’s Note: With West Los Angeles College on the brink of a major expansion program, this letter is addressed to neighbors of the college and all others who travel into that southwest Culver City neighborhood.]

As you may know, West Los Angeles College classes have begun.

I'm sure if you have been victimized by the outrageously heavy traffic these past two days on Overland Avenue and on Jefferson Boulevard, you could have guessed this.

In our recent dealings with the college, we have continuously tried to make them aware of the traffic and parking issues caused by the college and how it has impacted on our neighborhood. However, they have not been successful in mitigating the problems.

If you have been sitting in this traffic the past two days, it would be greatly appreciated if you would send your account of the delays to the college so they can hear it from our neighbors. The email address is GouletCA@email.laccd.edu.

Your neighbors thank you in advance for taking an active role to help improve our traffic and parking conditions.
