Re “Bilodeau Suspect Will Not Draw Death Penalty if Found Guilty

You wrote a story yesterday on Paul Bilodeau’s suspected killer as if it were good news.

It is definitely NOT.

Paul’s birthday was on Saturday.

We all still agonize over his loss, but his twin sister physically misses him every day, as do his parents and brother.

Our family is devastated.

Where was that in your story as you mention that Paul's accused killer will get to keep his life after allegedly taking Paul's?

Ari Noonan comments: I understand your devastation. However, the narrow focus of the story was about yesterday morning’s courtroom developments and was no intended as a recapitulation of the entire scenario. Such stories always are a difficult balancing act. The story reported the response of the suspected killer’s attorney, who, understandably, was pleased.
