Silver Enigma: How Can Two Sides See Me So Differently?

Thank you for the time and consideration your newspaper gave to my cause and to my love of teaching at Culver City High School.

I simply want to be a respected member of the AVPA faculty.

After reading what was submitted to the School Board in the effort to have me fired, I am as daunted by the claims against me as I am as the support I have received.

Somewhere I stood in the middle trying to understand how, as one person, I can be seen so differently.

I am grateful that the School Board invited me into their chambers if only to get to know me a bit better.

My commitment is to best serve the students, be an excellent colleague and employee of the Culver City Unified School District. I would like to think that Culver City High School is a little bit better because I am on the faculty.
