[Editor’s Note: The letter-writer refers to a Feb. 19 News story (
Police Union Makes Its Three Choices in the City Council Race”), which opened this way: After meeting with all nine City Council candidates, the Police Officers Assn. announced its endorsement this week of Mehaul O’Leary, Loni Anderson and Andy Weissman for the April 8 election.]

Contrary to the article written by Barbara Rabinowitz on Feb. 19, the police union did not meet with all nine candidates for the City Council.

Mr. Cary Anderson was not informed of the meeting and was not in attendance.

Cary shares the police union's ideals of increasing our investment in the city and has pledged to work to make our city a better place to live.

He has taken a strong stand on fighting the graffiti problem as well as other enforcement issues for our community.
