Please make sure to cast your ballot today for Nancy Pearlman, who is running as an incumbent. Our votes will enable her to continue serving as a trustee on the Los Angeles Community College District Board.
With all the other races getting so much attention, it's easy for this race to be overlooked. Our community college district, the largest in the country, is responsible for millions of students who deserve a fine education, including safe campuses, fine facilities, excellent teachers.
This district includes West Los Angeles College, in Culver City, as well as eight others.
I know Nancy Pearlman. She is an experienced educator and an experienced trustee. And an environmentalist. She takes her duties seriously. Read her L.A. Times endorsement here.
Nancy is a caring, responsible and effective trustee. Nancy's interest is not in using the position as a stepping-stone to a higher elected office. Her greatest desire is to continue doing effective work on behalf of students and teachers.
