I would like to encourage everyone to vote for Laura Chardiet in the upcoming School Board election on Nov. 8.
Laura has been a teacher and now is an administrator for LAUSD. She is committed to education and to children, and she has two kids in our Culver City schools. Laura Chardiet repeatedly has shown initiative in fundraising, in bringing new programs and projects to her children’s school, and in leadership roles in the PTA at the school site and at the Council level.
Laura is terrific at recognizing ways to make existing situations improve, as well as implementing innovations. She is pragmatic without losing her idealism. Laura also is energetic, used to working with diverse groups and personalities, and always ready to take on challenges with imagination grounded in reality.
Join me in voting for Laura Chardiet for School Board member.
