Re “I Am Suspicious of Endorsements by Teachers Unions”
You have mischaracterized my note by placing it under the heading of “I Am Suspicious of Endorsements by Teachers Union.”
This upsets me greatly.
It is unlike you to have so badly misread and misstated my words: “I have issues with endorsements of candidates by unions whose sole responsibility is to negotiate for the wages, benefits and working conditions of its members, whose very wages, benefits and working conditions are drawn from the public weal.”
As I have said, it is not Teachers Unions per se, but all unions…nay all groups who court politicians, pay for our politicians in order to slurp at the fountain of taxpayers’ dollars rather than for the collective good. The result as we clearly see IMHO is the best government money can buy. Clearly, I do not have enough money.
