By Michael Hamill
I am a financial professional with 30 years of experience as an investment banker, corporate turnaround specialist, chief financial officer and CPA. My work life consists of analyzing the wisdom of investments and resource allocation.
Viewing it from my professional perspective, I can confidently state that a “yes” vote on Measure CC is the right choice for Culver City voters.
Measure CC is a well-conceived initiative that presents our community with the opportunity to invest in one of its greatest assets: Our schools. It will help keep Culver City property values strong and help attract continued business investment in our community.
Indeed, a failure to pass Measure CC would present a risk to our city.
Besides my professional experience, though, I look at it as the father of three children in our School District. From that perspective, I know that the improvements Measure CC will fund are much needed and will meaningfully improve my children's experience at school.
Join me in voting yes on Measure CC on Tuesday.
