The first major debate among the Los Angeles mayoral candidates takes place in two weeks, Wednesday, Sept. 19, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Taglyan Cultural Complex, 201 N. Vine St., in Hollywood’s Little Armenia, a couple blocks north of Santa Monica Boulevard.

It is sponsored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

For reservations, email Nicole@hollywoodchamber.net

Media will be in attendance. The Grand Ballroom is bound to be filled up with hundreds of fed-up Hollywood residents showing their opposition to City Councilman and mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti’s multiple skyscraper dream for historic Hollywood.

Beware of the curse of the Thirteenth City Council seat.

Since the Thirteenth Councilmanic District was created in the 1920s, not a single Hollywood Council member has eluded the curse.

It is a genuine political career-wrecker.

Watch closely as the Curse of the Thirteenth City Council seat chokes off Mr. Garcetti’s political ambitions once and for all.

Ask still living victims of the curse, Jackie Goldberg, Mike Woo or Peggy Stevenson, to tell you their tragic tales.
