And, never let it be said I didn’t stick up for the Chamber of Commerce, either. While most know that Chamber President Steve Rose doesn’t care for me personally, I will say that from my perspective, the Chamber of Commerce really has no role to play or ability to help here. As a neighboring Chamber President, I realize we try to help companies grow. We also try to protect them from unjust laws and regulations. But in this case, it is clear that the leased property is in the right of way. There is nothing that I know of that Mr. Rose, or more importantly, his Board, could do to change the county position. Maybe the owners of The Jungle, and their supporters, should take a trip to the County Hall of Administration or to the MTA building on their meeting days and voice their concerns where they truly need to be vented.
