Re “A Different Set of Facts About Sheila Silver

I’m sure Lois Ellenstein “knows a thing or two,” but with all due respect, she doesn’t know what she thinks she knows about the subject of her letter…

Fact:
Anything Ms. Ellenstein wrote as being a “fact” regarding what [since departed teacher] Sheila Silver supposedly was informed by “CCUSD, Dr. Spano, Mr. Lujan” — or anyone else — is something Ms. Ellenstein was told by someone else.

This is referred to by attorneys as hearsay.

This also is generally known as a rumor or gossip. What so-and-so told me that someone else told them is simply not a “fact.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Ellenstein’s battery of questions, even if I were in a position to answer any of them, and I am decidedly NOT, would be impossible to answer.

They are based upon things that never actually occurred.

What I find most interesting is that under the guise of a letter of support for a candidate, an obviously unhappy person finds a way to air her issues in public.

An unhappy person who found another job while still under contract with CCUSD. An unhappy person whom I voted to retain, twice. Perhaps I’m the one who should be unhappy.

P.S.: Even if fellow School Board member Patricia Siever had two grandkids at CCHS — and she doesn’t — what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
