Re “The Vote Against the Chief Continues — and They Are Taking Names”
It would seem to me that the Culver City Police Officers Assn. was established with by-laws as a 501(c) 3 corporation, (and unless I am mistaken, they have not filed takes in many years)
In those by-laws, it specifies voting, types of voting and how to conduct the vote.
I am not saying I used to be a board member or have read the POA by-laws, but I was and have.
I question the authority to conduct the vote in such a manner. A member would have standing to challenge this kind of strong-arm voting.
