Friends of the Culver City Natatorium today is announcing its School Board candidate endorsement process.

Interviews will be held prior to Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Candidates interested in the group’s endorsement may now schedule an interview.

Friends of the Culver City Natatorium is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sole purpose of refurbishing and reopening the Culver City Natatorium on the campus of Culver City High School. Its efforts are focused on child and adult education, community outreach, and personal heath and well-being.

The Culver City Natatorium is an abandoned building between Farragut Elementary and the Middle School. Closed in the early 1990s, the building has become a political topic during each School Board election.

FCCN will endorse candidates, and it will not take any other position regarding the candidates. It is our belief that we all want to help the community. Each of us has the right to approach problems facing the community in our own way.
