Re “Culver High Vs. Student: Should She Be Allowed to Play

It is with my utmost highest and deepest ironic sincerity that I believe I have the perfect solution for the new School Board in solving the dilemma created by a Culver City High School soccer coach’s carefully thought-out personal rule.

It is his rule.

He can, and should, capriciously prevent a student from playing soccer if the student dares meet with the YMCA Youth and Government group.

This is a clear conflict-of-interest.

The new Culver City Unified School District Board should institute a policy fully backing the soccer coach and further expanding his authority.

To wit:

I would ask that the School Board permanently suspend any student, on a zero-tolerance guiding principle, from all sports and other athletic activities, if he or she is caught going to any house of worship, for any reason, while attending high school.

In addition, please join me and other couch potatoes in demanding that all Culver City government-paid sports coaches and governing board members take immediate action to retard all students from learning anything about any government from any source.
