We are supporting Jeff Cooper for City Council for many reasons.
Over the years we have known him, he has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a willingness to go the extra mile, a great sense of caring, a good ear for listening and forward thinking. He has honed his skills in each of the above areas.
As mayor of Culver City in the past year, he has taken his responsibilities seriously, and has always been respectful to those who have come before the City Council to voice their concerns.
Prudent in his decisions, he takes a strong position after hearing both sides of the argument on critical issues. Tough times call for tough leaders. Mr. Cooper strongly believes in fiscal responsibility and balancing tax increases while cutting b unneeded spending.
He has taken a firm stand on the plastic bag issue, fracking, public safety, affordable housing and traffic mediation. He makes a positive effort to work closely with city staff and other members of the City Council.
We definitely need the unique skills that he brings to the Council.
Please join us in re-electing Mayor Cooper for another four years next Tuesday.
