Candidate Looking for Specific Voters

This is my new campaign literature that will be thought provoking and catching the eye of voters who hate lawyers….

If You Hate Lawyers, Vote for Mr. Z!

“Instead of wasting millions of dollars on lawyer fees to litigate against teachers and classified employee unions and kids with special needs, we should get rid of the lawyers and resolve our differences through binding arbitration.”

Things aren’t all that rosy in the Culver City School District.

The main problem is that we have three lawyers and not enough educators on the School Board. As a consequence, we have a lot of lawyer talk, yapping, and self-congratulatory talk about what a great job they are doing for the School District.

In fact, the School District is in horrible shape. Not only are we facing budget deficits, intimidation of teachers and of classified employees, but physical plant problems as well.

Not only is there a termite problem, roofs leak and water fountains don’t work in some schools. All this time the lawyers have been sitting on $12 million in the capital account for the past 10 years.

Meanwhile, the School District has wasted millions “lawyering up” on attorney fees to take adversarial positions against the teachers and classified employee unions along with 72 cases involving special education disputes since 2005!

Think how much we could have used that money for our schools if the District had resolved these disputes through binding arbitration.
