It is time to honor the contributions of women veterans.
With the announcement of President Obama’s new Veteran Jobs initiative on the heels of Veterans Day this past weekend, I have received calls from many persons asking what this means for the men and women in uniform in the 33rd Congressional District.
Please join me and state Assembly member Holly Mitchell (D-Culver City) next Monday afternoon at the Vets Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., at 5 o’clock, for a special event honoring women veterans where you can learn about important state and federal legislation, and get resources from organizations serving and advocating for veterans.
