In this day of declining revenues and higher fees to constituents, once again the silly City Council next Monday night will waste more time and carbon footprint on debating whether to break a perfectly well oiled machine, The Summer Concert Series in the Courtyard of City Hall.
Once and for all, give Gary Mandell his producer contract, let him book the talent, and get on with the business of solving the $3 million budget shortfall without taking away vital services from the citizens.
