Members of the City Council and City Manager John Nachbar:

I will be loading video to my YouTube account regarding yesterday afternoon's paramedic response to the 10800 block of Farragut Drive/Farragut Elementary School.

Hopefully the youngster was not seriously injured by the car while crossing Farragut Drive to buy ice cream.

I have been compiling new video since December 2010 that illustrated the ongoing need for increased Culver City Police Dept. presence in the CCUSD Quad-Campus area. That work took lower priority to yesterday's incident.

The welcome sound and sight of CCPD motor officers pulling over traffic violators has been too few and far between. I hope that yesterday's incident will further serve to show the extreme need for a zero tolerance of traffic violators in the residential areas surrounding the Quad-Campus area.

I will forward URL information for the video showing the continuing disregard for public safety by drivers in Culver City.

Respectfully Yours
