You were way off base in linking these powerful legislative positions of Speaker of the Assembly Karen Bass and U.S. Rep. Laura Richardson to their weight.
You have stooped pretty low verbally in the past just to be entertaining, but by describing their figures as “Oh My Golly” and “chubby,” that was downright mean and vindictive.
I know you were trying to be humorous, but you failed miserably.
You would have been better off to have talked about, of all things, their age.
