I really wasn't going to get the iPhone 6 – until I heard about the rebate program. Getting a $200 rebate for my iPhone 5 and, therefore, not paying anything for the iPhone 6, was too good to be true.
What do I like best about the iPhone 6?
The phone has a better camera and better video camera.
That's very important to me since I just looked at the video I took of my granddaughter on Sunday. One of the precious clips was quite blurry. And a number of my photos were not clear.
The iPhone 6 has an automatic focus, so I won't have to touch the screen to get it focused.
It will be great having clear photos, and playing back the videos on the big screen TV in 1080p format.
It will be fun if I ever decide to make slow motion or time-lapse videos.
My next favorite feature is the fingerprint entry. It is fun. No more pressing numbers to unlock my phone. All I have to do is touch a button.
Finally, the iPhone 6’s greater memory means that once I charge my iPhone overnight, I likely will not have to plug my phone into the wall charger during the day. I can use my phone, play music and the radio, and still have power left over at night.
Problems with the new iPhone?
The phone is a little bigger than my iPhone 5, and it might not fit easily into many of my shirt pockets. But with my new protective case, I can carry it in my side pants pocket without worrying.
What would I like to see next in an iPhone? Well, I really like Siri, and I would like to be able to carry on an intellectual Wikipedia-like discussion with her.
