Dear Cardinal Mahony,
You have brought much scandal already upon Holy Mother the Church by your actions and inactions regarding pedophile priests under your jurisdiction in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
In order not to bring much more world-wide scandal on all Catholics, please decide to stay at home in North Hollywood when your fellow Cardinals gather very soon in Vatican City to choose a successor to the just announced retiring of Pope Benedict, the Vicar of Christ.
Do you seriously believe that you are worthy of casting a ballot for the next Pope?
