How to Cover the Whole Country

Everyone is talking about mandatory health insurance and making it affordable for all.

But how?

I believe the Basic Hospital Only Plan has to be the minimum required coverage.

People should have an option to get more if they can afford it.

The federal government has to offer health insurance through the states’ governments and compete fairly with private insurance companies.

What do I mean by fairly?

The states should negotiate with private insurance companies and use last year’s premium for plans as a base.

States should offer the same plans at nearly the same cost in order to allow people to choose any plan of their choice.

It works out perfectly because the insurance companies can still make money and decrease premiums.

We can start off by educating our people to eat healthy and exercise.

Then it would be in our best interest to make the fast food industry pay a portion of the medical costs for their consumers.

I am looking forward to hearing everyone’s opinions.

Together we can help our government come up with a final plan that suits all.

Next time, we are going to talk about our business owners and how we can work with them.

I remind you that this article is my personal opinion and doesn’t affect any insurance companies that I work with.
