Let Me Entertain You
Ronnie Jayne entertained us all afternoon with her electric piano and sound system. Her excellent performance with singing songs and playing an instrument was a joy and a pleasure to listen to, on the west side of block. On the opposite side of the block, Aaron and Daisy Shapiro hosted live Brazilian musicians. They varied their selections, and their rhythms, pitch and beat entertained us, too. They created distinctive sounds from all around Brazil. Roger Maxwell efficiently catered games for the kids, organizing as well as doing the set-up and clean-up. Tom Camarella helped with set-up and clean-up, and he played games with the older kids. Saundra Davis, the President of the School Board, and Mayor Gary Silberger also had a chance to mingle and discuss individual community interests.
Postscript
This is merely a start to a grand tradition in which we must work together to ensure survival. While many of us have known Henry for a long time and others not all, we want to commemorate and celebrate the philosophy of a memorable person. A memorial for Henry will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Raintree Clubhouse.
L’ chaim — To Life
And so we shall carry on with his life and move forward with justice and peace.
