Gay Marriage and Abortion – Where Do You Stand or Sit?

Here is what happens when a newspaper dispatches a hardbitten liberal girl to perform a woman’s task.

The Los Angeles Titanic sent Robin Abcarian and her bulging suitcase of temper tantrums to Fresno to interview the mayor.

Normally, only the mayor’s spouse would be interested.

However, the mayor is an electric and photogenic blue-eyed 42-year-old blonde. She would have been the subject of 75 front-page stories by now, except Ashley Swearingen is normal. She is Republican.

The faster she ages, the more Ms. Abcarian hates Republicans. She is an anti-fossil fuel, anti-fracking, pro-gay marriage, heavily pro-transgender bathroom, pro-climate change kind of girl. A charming dinner guest – if only she would bring silverware ad a fresh napkin.

Taking a longshot, the Titanic sent Ms. Abcarian to Fresno last Sunday. Too bad the fuming – or is it fumigatable? — girl didn’t get lost among the corn stalks.

It is entirely fitting that her lopsidedly organized hit piece on Ms. Swearingen appeared on the morning of Halloween.

Ms. Abcarian’s smarmy takedown of Ms. Swearingen appears to have been written with the wrong end of the old witch’s broom.

Ms. Abcarian barely keeps herself from drooling venom into each paragraph.

Ms. Swearingen, by all accounts a splendid mayor, is running for state controller against Board of Equalization member Betty Yee.

As a looney left-wing hack who has been running on three flat tires – which blends her into the human wallpaper at the Titanic – Ms. Abcarian, seething, asked Ms. Swearingen the answer to the two most important questions pose-able to a state controller contender:

• Where do you stand on same-sex marriage?
• Where do you stand (or sit) (or lie) on abortion?

This is why it is difficult to take liberals seriously.
