Take your vacation at home this year.

Culver City’s 58th annual Fiesta La Ballona will  be held on  the weekend of Aug. 28-29-30 in Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of Culver Boulevard and Overland Avenue.

There is no admission charge and parking is free at the Sony studio lot on Washington Boulevard and Overland.

Beginning at 6 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 28, until 10 in the evening,  Fiesta La Ballona presents Fiesta-Palooza,  featuring local  teen bands performing on the main stage.

The carnival rides and games and the Beer and Wine Garden will be open, a wonderful way to start a weekend for everyone in your family.

The Fiesta continues on Saturday, from noon to 10 in the  evening. On Sunday, the hours are noon to 6.

On Saturday and Sunday, the two stages will have non-stop music and performances.  The Saturday night main stage performance features two hours of Salsa music and dance.  The community stage will have performances, both theatrical and musical, by groups from Culver City for the absolute delight for youngsters and seniors alike!

Fiesta La Ballona offers something for people of all ages – two  music and performance stages, spectacular carnival rides and games, wonderful food, wonderful arts and crafts vendors, local community service groups providing information about their projects, the Fire Dept. booth, and the Police Dept. K-9 demonstration and booth.

Take a break and relax around the pool – visit the Culver City Plunge at the park for a quick dip to cool off.   You will find plenty of parking on the nearby streets, and at the Sony Studios parking lot, just two blocks away from the park.

Fiesta La Ballona offers an affordable weekend for your family and offers something for everyone.
