Do you trust the Republicans to show you Christian charity?

Many of you need to think about that because when you hear those Teabaggers out there screaming that they want their country back, their corporate masters are depending on the fact they have done enough damage to our educational system where many of you won't know what that really means. Many Teabaggers don't know what it means. If they did, they would not be out there.

The Teabaggers do not seem to realize that the corporate or fiscal conservatives are using them like pawns to promote their own enslavement. They are using the bigotry of the social conservatives to carry out an agenda that they have been embarked upon since the end of the Great Depression, to undo the New Deal, that brought about all of the safety nets that serve to protect the economic lives of the poor and middle class.

These corporate slave masters are intent upon the destruction of Social Security, Medicare, the Fair Labor Standards Act and every other program that was designed to protect the people's interest. In their own words, they want to “make government small enough to drown in a bathtub.” In plain language, too small to protect the interest of the American people.

Admittedly, their thirty-year program to take control over the lives of the American people has been ingenious. First, they destroyed the unions, then the American educational system. Now they are left with an emerging, easily controlled political class because they are so dumb that even if they wanted to do the right thing, they're so undereducated that they know absolutely nothing about the principles that this nation was founded upon.

These corporate slavemasters are already in the process of enslaving the Teabaggers right along with the rest of us. You see, they are too dumb to understand that this time enslavement is going to be by class rather than simply race. By the time they realize what is going on, it will be too late.

Is it possible this could happen in America? Wake up, people. It already has.

For the benefit of those dummies who have been convinced that self-preservation constitutes socialism and those of you more interested in Kobe Bryant's jump shot than voting, this would be an appropriate time to stroll down memory lane and look at documented evidence of Christian charity, as practiced in America:

“Come here, fool, and let me teach you about the Lord. The first thing you got to learn is to love thy neighbor, especially me.”

“Yassir, Massa. Why would anybody not love you, Sir? You so good to me, Massa. Anybody don’t love you needs to have their butt beat real good, Massa.”

“Shut up, fool. I’m talkin’.

“Listen, boy, the Lord done blessed you already, and you don’t even know him. The Lord made it where you don’t have to worry ‘bout a thing. I feed you, I put clothes on yo nasty butt, and I give you a shed to sleep in. All you have to do is whatever the hell I tell you to. Do you know how blessed you are?”

“Oh yes indeed, Massa. Indeed I do. You takes good care of me. I’s so happy.” “Now, listen real good ‘cause dis impotant. God said, thou shalt not steal from me, thou shalt not kill (unless I tell you to), thou shalt not mess wit yo neighbor’s wife, (unless we tryin’ to make some mo darkies), and boy, whatever you do, thou shalt not even look like you want to mess wit a white woman, or we gon lynch yo black butt. You hear me, boy?”

“Oh, yes, Massa. We know dat! But Massa, I thought you said thou shalt not kill?”

“Dat means people, fool! Real people. Dat don’t go for darkies. God wants us to keep you in yo place.”

“Dat’s right, Massa. We sho’ gotta keep dem darkies in dey place. No tellin’ what a happen if we let dem fools git loose. God so smart.”

“I said shut up, fool, and listen to the word.”

“The next thing you got to learn is, whatever happens on this plantation is God's will bein' done. But if you listen to me, you’ll get to live like I do when you die and go to Heaven. God is good. He done even set aside a place in the back of Heaven where you darkies can live just like real people.”

“Live like you, massa? Us darkies ain t got no business livin’ that good. What a po’ fool like me gon’ do wit’ all this? You know I ain't got sense enough to run nothin' like this.”

“Just shut up, boy!” When you dead, you gon’ get some sense. The lord gon’ give you some. The Lord can do anything, even give sense to a niggra. And he gon’ give you all the other niggras you gon’ need to help you work the fields, too.”

“Oh, Massa, you so good to me! Thank you for tellin’ me all dis. I'm gon’ be a good darkie, the best darkie you ever seen. Look, I'm gon’ pray for you right now.”

“Shut up and get off your knees, ya dumb fool! The fields need tendin’! Pray on your own time. God don’t want you talkin’ to him when you s’pose to be workin’.”

“A course, Massa. What I been thinkin’? I's so dumb. I don t know why you put up with me, Massa.”

“I said shut up, fool!”

“Yes Sir, I's a shuttin’, Massa. I’s a shuttin’, right now.”

“Now get yo butt out there in that field and let’s get some work done around here . . . Oh, and Toby, have yo woman meet me in the barn. I need to tell her ‘bout the Lord, too. Tell her to comb her hair and wear that pretty dress she got. She knows the one. She got to look pretty when she learnin' 'bout the Lord.”

“Yes, sir, Massa.”

“And one mo thang, if my mama come a lookin’, tell her I’m playin’ in my tree house.”

“Why you gon’ go fibbin’ to yo mama, Massa Tommy? She knows you like to sit wit’ Lou Ann.”

“Just shut up, fool, and do what I said!

“Yes, Sir, Massa Tommy . . .

“Whaaaaaaat a friend we have in Jeeeeesus . . .”

Vote. Please.

We are just a tea bag away from that kind of “American exceptionalism.” That “shining light on the hill” was actually a plantation. We still could be living under those conditions today if it were not for the many good people who decided that it was worth sacrificing their lives in the bloodiest war in this nation's history to free us from it. It is up to us to remain free. What is so important in your life that you can't even sacrifice a few minutes to vote?

Do you get on your knees every month and pray that God stops the utility company from cutting off your lights? No, You don't have to, because God answered your prayers in advance by blessing you with the common sense to go pay the light bill.

The same is true of your freedom. It is not going to do a bit of good to get on your knees and beg God to protect your civil rights if you don't vote. God helps those who help themselves. If you don't use the common sense he gave you and vote to protect your rights, the lights of this free society are going to be shut off just as surely as the utility company will shut off the lights in your home if you don't pay your light bill.

Thus, all of our children’s tomorrows may be directly dependent upon our gettin' up off our duffs today.
