[Editor’s Note: Maj. Smith issued these greetings in a timely manner yesterday when the newspaper was closed.]

Good morning to all my fellow Americans and to our allies in the War On Terror.

To our brave on battlefields around the world, God bless you and Merry Christmas.

I hope our two million, eight hundred thousand Americans of the Jewish faith, who stand beside us in the war, have a safe holiday practicing your own beliefs.

I would say the same for the one
million and eighty thousand Buddhists, and for those of
other faiths not at war with us.

To the one million, one hundred thousand Muslims in America, I would say Merry Christmas and quietly remind you of your obligations to support the United States of America over any and all others.

The same goes for those of the majority religions, including those professing the Christian faith.

Keep Within Your Territory

To that minority of Americans who believe in nothing, all 30 million of
you, may your minority view be expressed without infringement on those of faith.

The 160 million Americans of the
Christian faith take great pride today in carrying the burden of allowing all others to practice their faiths.

But make no mistake. We are the vast majority in America. Your acceptance depends on you, not on us.

On this the day, the majority of Americans celebrate the direct gift from God, His own Son, may you all have a very Merry Christmas.

May our Soldiers, Marines,Airmen
and Sailors know that their cause is just, and at least 160 million of us will pray for their safety today.

Checking the Facts

To those in the media who daily promote the idea that we Protestants and Catholics will soon be in the
minority, buy the World Almanac. Brush up on your numbers.

So today if you want an X instead of Christ in your holiday, carve it in your own forehead, not on
the store window. For an example, see the Manson Family going to court and honoring their false idol.

To the vast majority of my fellow Americans, Merry Christmas and God Bless You all from Zippo.
