Preparation Procedure
for Pruning Proliferating Polyps
Subtitle: Lots of “P’s”
I fear those pesky polyps
are once more proliferating.
They’re not content to stay away,
it’s so exasperating!
During the colonoscopy,
the doctors need to see
If there are any polyps
that have grown inside of me.
I’ve bought the phospho soda
and the lime jello, too
And all the water needed
to make it pass right through.
After the phospho soda,
I know I’ll be in trouble.
I’ll have to find a restroom—
right away—on the double…!
It’s said it curtails activities,
but that really isn’t so
Because it doesn’t curtail
my desperate need to go…!
And so I am prepared to be checked out—
with a grin
And hope those pesky polyps
won’t trouble me again..!
