II knew the craving would come back. After two months of taking it easy (at least by my standards), my desire to jump back into the game of life with both feet has been growing. I am ready.

The question is now – ready for what? I have left behind so many projects, most completed, some abandoned mid-stream. With my life’s palette cleared more than it has been in at least the last 10 years, I am ready to taste something new and different.

I am brewing ideas of new adventures and commitments. This time, however, I am going to take my time in deciding which spices to combine in the next chapter. I intend to savor the experience from start to finish.

I will serve up one new combination of flavors this Saturday in Long Beach. I will perform a collection of sweet, spicy and maybe even a tart piece or two, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Sipology. For more information, visit http://lvxedge.com/index26.html.

The term “creative juices” says it all for me this year. Great musical recipes and unbounded creativity. I can’t wait.
