Re “Refugees Know ‘Secrets’ About America We Never Heard About”
When new refugees arrive in this country, there always are people who “fish in the muddy waters,” managers of Section 8 housing who ask for bribes to facilitate the rent for a family.
I heard of one case where the tenants should pay a couple hundred dollars every month. If they don’t, the concierge is aware of their situation. He knows the tenant works for cash and also receives government aids. So he tells the tenants if they refuse to pay, he will rep[ort them to authorities.
Some immigration specialists take percentages to find other types of aid for them. Doctors and medical supply providers abuse the system by prescribing unnecessary prescriptions for their patients. Steadily, the cycle enlarges to the people themselves. When they find jobs, they will work only for cash for years, all the while declaring low income. They buy all of their furniture and cars under the name of a family member who does not receive government assistance. Of course if they are caught (not even 1 percent per year), they have to pay back the government all that they have received – plus large fines.
While I was researching this article, I learned that a person recently had received help for a long period of time but that last year he had made a dumb mistake. He bought a house in his own name.
I have learned of so many different examples of these types of incidents that are so interesting, There is not enough space.
Americans are a generous people. I have traveled to many countries but never have I seen such a massive volume of people who donate to charities and more directly assist others.
In other countries, people may possess even more money than the Americans. But they are not nearly as generous of heart and action the way they are here.
I have heard many Americans say, “I understand how hard it is to be a new immigrant. When we emigrated, we had such hard times at the beginning. That is why we are happy we can help others now.”
Some persons are givers, some are receivers. God is a giver. He does not need to receive much from us. He expects that we will respect His laws, which are only ten points, plus once in awhile a display of gratitude for all that is given to us. It does not change anything for Him, but it is nice to hear that people appreciate what they have received.
Most of the time it is not a duty to give. It is actually an act of kindness. Unfortunately, persons who do not understand the real meaning of giving, take the gifts they receive as fact. And still they complain, wanting more and more. People are like children. You give and give. Still, they want and they complain. If you buy one doll, they will cry for the other one that they do not have. Maybe this is the reason some persons hate America and Americans, because we have not given them more!
Looking at the events of recent days, the horrors that the two young brothers committed in Boston, they and their extended families came to this country as refugees. They have received everything that I have listed in this essay – from America and the Americans whom they hate so much.
The money that they received was not coming from a cold iron government safe, the help is made by the hot perspiration body of hard working Americans. It is the tax money that Americans pay to the government to help these people who take the money and still hate and kill us.
Here is a mother who has lost her older son and is not sure of the future of the second one. Instead of apologizing to the American people with tearful eyes, she is speaking out against her supposedly adopted country, against Americans whom she says are accusing her sons because they are Muslims.
Millions of true American Muslim believers in this country pay their taxes every year so that the government can help refugees like this family.
