My mouse died today. Long live my new mouse!
Not only can I scroll up and down now, I can more easily move the mouse around the paper. And my new mouse was free – since it was under my computer’s warrantee.
Not only that, when I brought my old mouse to the Apple Store today, I learned that I had only 51 days left on my 2-year Mac computer warrantee. I learned that I could bring in my computer and have it checked out, without cost, by the Genius crew at the store.
Not only that, I learned that it is better for the computer to be shut down each night than allowed to “sleep.”
Not only that, I was helped by a friendly young Mac Genius woman who likely will be the teacher of the computer class that my mom and I will attend, once my mom buys her Mac computer in a week.
Not only that, but as soon as I finished at the Apple Store my visiting relatives and I headed off to the pizza restaurant, only to arrive at the same time as my visiting three children and grandson.
Not only that, now my son, who is visiting here for the day, has awoken from a nap, and I will go to spend time with him before taking him to the airport. Then I will spend time with the visiting relatives before taking them to the airport tomorrow. Later I will spend time with my daughter and her son before taking them to the airport the next day.
I am a lucky guy to have a new mouse. I am an even luckier guy to have a chance to see all three children and my grandson together – even for a day.
Now each time I touch my new and lucky mouse, I will think of the wonderful moments together with family. Nothing can beat it.
I’m off to the family. Lucky mouses to you all!
