Lights, Cameras, Politicians
With almost as many cameras as people on the grounds in a Crenshaw residential neighborhood, political figures came in by the plane-full. Four of Culver Citys five City Council members were present, including Vice Mayor Alan Corlin, Carol Gross and Scott Malsin. Steve Rose was out of town. City Manager Jerry Fulwood, Transportation Director Steve Cunningham and Public Works Director Charles Herbertson also were spotted. Herb Wesson and Bernard Parks from the Los Angeles City Council came out, as did the rest of the County Supervisors and state Sen. Sheila Kuehl (D-Santa Monica).
